THE FIRST SEASON OF THE ANIMATED SERIES ‘’PUFFINS IMPOSSIBILE’’ HAS BEEN COMPLETED

The first season of the animated series ‘’ Puffins Impossible’’, created in Iervolino Studios and produced by Archangel Digital Studios which was realized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia, has been completed. The series ‘’Puffins Impossible’’, created in Serbia, is a spin-off of the famous series ‘’Puffins’’, with Johnny Depp in the leading role. The appearance of the main character, Johnny Puff, is based on the personality of the legendary Hollywood actor who, in addition to his recognizable character and physical characteristics, also borrowed his voice to the character. Johnny Depp, on the occasion of the promotion of the first animated series produced in Serbia, was the Belgrade’s guest. Depp visited Iervolino Studios together with Miloš Biković, the founder of Archangel Digital Studios. Andrea Iervolino and Lady Monika Bacardi, the owners of Iervolino Studios and founders of the parent company Iervolino&Lady Bacardi Entertainment (ILBE), hosted Deep in the studio in Belgrade.
During his visit, the Hollywood actor talked to the employees in the studio, he visited all sectors and addressed the colleagues in the studio in Novi Sad via Zoom. Johnny Depp has pointed out that he is delighted with the creativity of people from Serbia and he added that “the work that has been done in just one year is simply amazing.”
Also, Depp thinks that “Puffins Impossible” is a great story for all ages, witty and educational. Lady Monika Bacardi added that she considers Serbia to be one of the most inspiring markets in which ILBE operates and that the production of the “Puffins Impossible” series is proof that we have capable, dedicated and agile team ready for world-class projects. In addition, Lady Monika Bacardi pointed out that common goal of Archangel Digital Studios and Iervolino Studios is for Serbia to become Hollywood, and it can be noticed since an entire new sector has been opened, this sector is dedicated to post-production and visual effects (VFX). After visiting the studio, Andrea Iervolino pointed out in his official address that “Puffins Impossible” is the first animated series produced, following the highest world standards, it is a big leap for the domestic sector and he used this opportunity to express his gratitude to Miloš Biković, who convinced him only a year ago that everything that he imagined can be realized in Serbia.
On that occasion, Miloš Biković said that the series ’’Puffins Impossible represents a huge success for local artists and added ’’together, we managed to start the animation industry, thanks to innovative technologies and by doing that, we gave our creative people the possibility to work according to standards of some of the biggest world studios’’. In the end, Biković added that he believes that there will be even more such projects, and that, as he said, “ we will continue to grow and create”.

The “Puffins Impossible” series will soon be available for streaming on the world’s leading platforms, with one of them being Apple TV.
