Petar Maraš, a kind-hearted young man, is a member of the Belgrade car mafia led by the Boss. Maraš, through an impulsive decision and deviating from the established "business" plan, steals an unchecked car. However, this time the catch is the car of the son of the Bulgarian drug clan's boss, loaded with cocaine intended for Golub, the head of the Belgrade drug network. The wrong choice, rooted in a pure passion for cars since childhood, opens the doors to the Belgrade underworld for Maraš, entangling him in games far crueler than he was prepared for. Serbia of "South Wind," where the nexus between crime and state is strong, is a country at the crossroads of drug routes that connects with neighbors through the common melody of streets, taverns, and clubs.
Is Maraš up to a world where no one is spared, where institutions are on the wrong side, where family is endangered, and where there can only be one? The film is directed by Miloš Avramović, who, along with Petar Mihajlović, also wrote the screenplay. Miloš Biković portrays Petar Maraš, his best friend and not-so-brave support, Baća, is played by Miodrag Radonjić, while other roles are entrusted to Nebojša Glogovac, Dragan Bjelogrlić, Aleksandar Berček, Jovana Stojiljković, Miloš Timotijević, and Luka Grbić. This thrilling and realistic drama set on the Belgrade asphalt, told through action sequences, is, unequivocally, the most-watched film of the past decade according to the official list published by the Film Center of Serbia.
